In this tutorial, you will learn how to create this Abalone Shell clay slab. This tutorial is mainly to be used with our Abalone Shell Dupe cutters and provides a straightforward, clear way of creating the shell pattern with clay, right down to the specific colors and thicknesses used.

NOTE:
• Specific colors used are from our Sculpey Souffle clay color recipes, recipes are NOT included. You may purchase it separately, or eyeball the colors from the video.
• There is no sheen to the clay to make it easier to follow. You may add a color like Sculpey Pearl for extra shine.
• No two slabs are the same, do note your final slab will look different in terms of the pattern since it is hand made and organic.
• In this tutorial, specific steps are made but please note that it is basically the Mokume Gane technique.
